Full Time Working Hours (8:30-17:30 Mon-Fri with some on call duties required)

Rate per hour- up to £25000 per annum

Location: 179-181 Streatham Road, Mitcham, CR4 2AG

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Field Care Supervisor (FCS), working with an established client base in a community setting. The successful FCS would have at least 3 years’ experience administering care in a community setting; have a full UK driving license and a sense of commitment to providing an outstanding service to our users.

We are looking for individuals with the aptitude to continually improve our service and implement quality control procedures. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience within care and be proficient with Microsoft office packages, it is essential that the applicant has a full UK driving license.

What will my new role involve?

You will work mostly in the community, assessing and reviewing individual care packages and providing practical supervision and instruction to our support workers and clinical staff. You will be instrumental in providing clinical expertise and guidance to staff in the field and delivering an outstanding quality of care to our clients.

You will be an enthusiastic and committed FCS with excellent communication skills, an individual who is committed to the delivery of high quality patient care at all times.

Main responsibilities:

  • To carry out Individual Needs Assessments for new and potential clients
  • To carry out introductory visits every time a Care & Support Worker visits a client for the first time.
  • To ensure all client visits are always covered
  • To be on-call in case of emergency
  • To liaise closely with Care Coordinators regarding recruitment, permanent allocation of Care & Support Workers and the writing of Care & Support Agreements.
  • To identify suitable Care & Support Workers to cover for any absences, this may be due to sickness or holiday.
  • To allocate suitable alternative Care & Support Workers when an existing Care & Support Worker notifies that they are unable to attend a call.
  • To facilitate the practical induction of all new Care & Support Workers.
  • To monitor, supervise and mentor all Care & Support Workers in the field.
  • To monitor all clients for service and Care & Support Worker satisfaction.
  • To participate in Service User reviews and build relations with Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
  • Responsible for the efficient running of your own specific, defined areas and effectively monitor and support all Care & Support Workers and clients
  • The role will be 90% field based with 10% of the role being office based.
